Digitally enhanced photographs by authors involving the desert landscape of the American West, embrace the landscape that begins where the Los Angeles hinterland blends into tracts of high and low desert. Using Photoshop software to 'design' pictures, the artists begin with a color photograph and transform the background into black and white, leaving islands of color untouched or heightened. |
